C.J. McMhuilin, PhD, is a board-certified specialist in surgical neurophysiology and neuro-diagnostics, holding a Diplomate from the American Surgical Neurophysiology Board. Originally from southern California, Dr. McMhuilin has pursued education and professional endeavors both in the United States and the Republic of Ireland.
Academically, he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's degree in industrial psychology, and a PhD in Neuroscience with a focus on neuro-diagnostics. his expertise lies in complex spine surgery.
For the past decade, he has provided legal consultation on various medico-legal cases and is currently pursuing legal studies at the U of A. CJ is actively involved in professional organizations including the American Bar Association, NCAPA, San Diego Paralegal Association, American Alliance of Paralegals, North American Spine Society, American Society of Neurophysiological Monitoring, and the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (Neurophysiology).
Beyond his professional pursuits in the firm and operating room, his interests are diverse. He enjoys traveling, playing the cello, golfing, and spending quality time with his family, friends, and dogs. In his leisure, he also indulges in recreational flying with his private pilot's license.
